Crockpot Cover Crochet Pattern

4 quart crockpot cover crochet pattern

Do you store your crockpot on an open shelf like I do? Well if you do, then I’m sure it gets dust and maybe some pet hair on it. Mine constantly does and is exactly why I designed the crockpot cover crochet pattern.

The Crockpot Cover (or slow cooker cover) is a crochet pattern for 4 and 6 quart oval slow cookers. I have 4 quart Hamilton Beach crockpot and a 6 quart CrockPot slow cooker. My 6 quart is the one I use the most for our family of 5 and the one that I keep stored on our open shelf.

The Crockpot Cover can be made with or without handle openings. I chose for my larger slow cooker not to have handle openings because I do not want any dust contacting it. But it is easier to transport with the handle openings on it. It is simply your choice.

I chose Caron Cotton Cakes by Yarnspirations for this crochet pattern, as it is a Cotton Acrylic Blend yarn. I was afraid that using just acrylic yarn would cause dust to stick to it or not stay as clean. I really like the Caron Cotton cakes yarn. It comes in a variety of colors and is easy to work with. You can find it on Amazon below or your local Michael’s Store.

The Crockpot Cover measurements are 13”L x 11”W x 8”H for the 6-Quart and the 4-Quart measures 11”L x 9.5”W x 7”H. It is for an oval slow cooker cover. It does have some stretch and may also fit various other sizes.
