The Dog Sweater Crochet Pattern will be sure to keep your pet warm! It comes in 6 different sizes fitting pets 2lb up to 60 pounds!
The Crochet Dog Sweater is worked with medium weight #4 yarn and an I 5.5mm Crochet Hook. It is worked from the bottom up. Check your pets measurements by measuring around their chest and from neck to bottom to be sure of the correct sweater size.
I created this pattern in early 2018 when I was newer to designing. Although it is the same concept and approximate sizes of that pattern, it needed updating. So this is the updated version of that pattern. I had each size already posted individually on CrochetItCreations.com and those have been updated, but I wanted to have a post that compiled all sizes.

Pattern Notes
- Be sure to check gauge before starting, different yarn or tension can alter the sizing.
- Beginning chain DOES NOT count as a stitch.
- Pattern is worked from the bottom up to the neck.
- Optional to place a stitch marker on the last st of each round instead of joining for the body of the sweater.
- Measure around your pet’s chest to check the fit or which size to make. Give 1-2” for stretching. My dog is wearing the small and was 19” around.

Great pattern! What does SK in the directions mean? Thank you!!
SK usually means skip and I add that in the stitches used/abbreviations. I don’t see that on here though.
