The Doggy Sweater Size Large

Large Crochet Dog Sweater Pattern

The Doggy Sweater crochet pattern in size large is for dogs 28-40lbs. Finished sweater measures approximately 23”L x 26”W. It is constructed from the bottom up to the neck. Post stitches are used at the bottom, then work in the round for the body of the sweater.

Using 100% acrylic medium weight yarn it’ll be sure to keep your pet warm. Make it with an I 5.5mm Crochet Hook. My favorite hook is Clover Amour. They have a nice ergonomic handle and glide.

  1. Im not understanding row 17 with the xhain 20? Can u provide visual?

    1. After row 16, you are chaining 20 and connecting the chain to the first st of row 16. So you are working in the round now. Where as rows 1-16 you were working back and forth flat rows. So, on row 17 you hdc in each st and each chain to work in the round.

  2. Large size- row 36, if you add up the stitches, it comes to 66 not 64. Am I missing something?

    1. I believe that have been updated on the pattern. So for the delayed response.
