Dream Weaver Beanie Crochet Pattern

textured beanie crochet pattern

The Dream Weaver Crochet Beanie is a crochet pattern in 3 sizes: adult, child, and toddler. It has a wide folded up brim for extra warmth. Complete with a yarn or faux fur pom pom.

The Dream Weaver Crochet Beanie uses a crochet technique for the body of the beanie called the Basket Weave. It uses Double Crochet Post Stitches in a way that looks like a weave in and out.

Pattern is worked with Medium 4 Weigh Yarn. Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn! was used in the photos. I love the way this yarn works up. It also comes in a wide variety of colors.

The Dream Weaver Crochet Beanie is worked from the Brim up. It uses a wide brim that is folded up once completed. It comes in 3 sizes: Toddler measures 7”H x 8”W using 175 yards, Child measures 8”H x 9”W using 225 yards, Adult measures 9”H x 10”W using 275 yards. Toddler is for ages approximately 2-4 years old, Child for 5-10 years, and Adult ages 11 and up.

Complete the beanie with a faux fur pom pom. Make your own faux fur poms with fabric sold by the yard at your local craft store. I bought mine from my Walmart’s Craft Section. 1/3 of a yard can make about 20 6″ pom poms. See post and video HERE to learn how to make your own pom pom.

I have been crocheting since I was a child. My huge love for crochet has opened this opportunity to teach others through this blog and online learning.
