Ear Saver Mask Band Crochet Pattern

ear saver mask band crochet pattern

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to everyone working the front lines during COVID-19 pandemic.

I have been busy sewing face masks and crocheting ear saver bands for my friends and family. Most of those who are working the front lines are being required to wear a mask for extended periods of time during their shift.

Face masks with the elastic that goes over the ears can be very uncomfortable when wearing for long periods of time. Many friends are getting sores on their ears.

These crocheted Ear Saver Mask Bands can relieve the pressure from the elastic of masks. They are worn behind the head and the elastic goes around the 2 buttons.

Ear Saver Materials Needed:

  • Cotton Medium 4 Weight Yarn
  • G 4mm Crochet Hook
  • 2 1″ buttons

Stitches Used:

Pattern Notes:

  • Beginning chain does not count as a stitch
  • Ear Save measures approximately 5″
