As you can see below, there is a graph for every single letter of the alphabet! And I personally made these graphs to match the dimensions of the washcloth and the letter style that I like. So, I hope you enjoy making these as much as I did creating!
So, how do you follow a graph pattern?? See post here where I describe how to follow a graph crochet pattern.
Another option is to make this into a Hot Pad instead of a Washcloth!! Do so by using a smaller hook. I recommend a H 5.0mm hook. This will give tighter stitches. You could also make 2 and sew or stitch together for extra heat protection! Perfect for placing those hot pans onto your counter with.

Initial Washcloth Crochet Graph Pattern
Chain 31
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across (30) working in the back bump of the chain. ch 1 and turn
Row 2-30: sc across, following graph and changing colors as needed. Do not finish off on each color, use bobbins as described in this post here. (30) ch 1 and turn
Edging – ch 1, turn and sc down side of pattern placing 1 sc in the end of each row. sc across bottom ch, up the other side, and across the top row 30. Join and finish off.
If making as a hot pad, use H 5.0mm hook. Make 1 in the initial of choice. Make another that is without an initial in the main color that was used. Sew or slip stitch both of them together. This will give extra heat protection. I do not recommend to use as a hot pad as a single layer.
