Learn How to Crochet the Slip Stitch with this beginner friendly video by Crochet It Creations.
The slip stitch (SS) is the smallest crochet stitch. It is commonly used to join round rows. So, if you are crocheting in the round, like hats, you would complete the last stitch of the round then join with a slip stitch to the first stitch.
I also use the slip stitch as rows for a brim to my Braided Cable Beanie Crochet Pattern. I love the slip stitch brim because it looks knitted. But this pattern is advanced due to the cable stitches.
