Jessica Cooper The Mini Christmas Tree Skirt Crochet Pattern comes in 2 variations: Santa Belt and Elf Stripes. It will fit around a 2 ft Mini Christmas Tree.
I found these Mini Christmas Trees at my local Joann Fabrics Store. They are only 2 feet tall and are perfect for my kids’ rooms. They are pre-lit and have a cute wooden stand.
The Mini Christmas Tree skirt measure 16″ diameter. It uses an I 5.5mm Crochet Hook and Worsted Weight yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver found at my local Walmart Store.

Materials Needed
- I 5.5 mm Crochet Hook
- Medium #4 Weight Acrylic Yarn in Red, Black, White, and Gold for the Santa belt and Red and Green for the Elf Stripes
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle

- SC – Single Crochet
- DC – Double Crochet
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
- Ch – Chain
- St(s) – Stitch(es)
Pattern Notes
- Mini Tree Skirts Measure 16” diameter
- Beginning chain DOES NOT count as a stitch
- Make easy color changes by dropping the color working with on the last step of the last stitch of each round, finish off that stitch with the next color.
- Do not finish off with each color change, simply drop the color and pick it back up next row needed.

Santa Belt Buckle
Ch 24, join to first ch to form a ring. Ch 1, 3SC in first ch, [SC in 5 chs, 3SC in next ch] repeat 2 more times, SC in 5 chs, join. Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing. Using tapestry needle sew belt buckle around the black stripe.
