Reduce Visibility of Joins on Camel Stitches

The Camel Stitch is a popular stitch here on Crochet It Creations. Camel stitches are made in the third loop of the hdc stitches. I love the look of this stitch and how it makes the work look knitted! It provides texture to your item, but doesn’t complicate things.

One thing I have noticed when seeing some of my own work in the beginning of creating The Ana Beanie, the joins were very noticeable. I quickly discovered how to reduce the visibility and added notes to the pattern. However, some times reading notes does not make the instructions clear. I figured a video would be better.

Patterns that use the Camel Stitch are…The Ana Beanie, The Gracie Messy bun Beanie, and Camel Stitch Earwamer. And now this pattern featured in the video…Top Down Ana Beanie! I hope you enjoy these patterns and the tip. If you have any questions….please let me know!
