Have you tried making the Braided Cable Beanie and got confused with the cable stitches? I frequently get asked about row 2 specifically and knew that a crochet video tutorial was a must! It may have taken longer than excepted to get this out to you….. but here it is!
The Braided Cable Beanie is a textured crochet pattern that is worked from the brim up. It is made in adult size. Pattern cannot be altered for smaller sizes due to the 20 stitch repeat. If you would like to make in a smaller size, use a smaller hook or yarn weight.
This is an intermediate to advanced pattern due to the cables. Cables are made by crocheting post stitches, which are worked around the stitch from the previous round not in to the top of the stitch. These post stitches cross over each other at times to get the braided look.
