Heart to Heart Earwarmer is cute and easy to make. It is detailed with textured hearts and constructed in round single crochet rows. The hearts are made by using post stitches.
The Heart to Heart Earwarmer crochet pattern is for child size 6-10 years old. It measures 9.5″L x 3.75″W. The hearts are 9 stitches wide. Pattern can be made larger by adding 9 stitches, and smaller by subtracting 9 stitches.
Make the hearts stand out more by changing colors on each post stitch. You can carry the yarn with you by single crocheting over the yarn, to prevent cutting and weaving in each time. Change colors easily by dropping the yarn on the last step of the stitch and picking up the new yarn when finishing.

Materials Needed
- I 5.5mm crochet hook
- Medium weight #4 yarn
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
Stitches Used
- Sc – single crochet
- Join – slip stitch to first st
- Fpdc – front post double crochet, making the dc around the front of the stitch instead of in the top loops
Gauge
- 4” x 4” square = 16 rows x 15 stitches
Pattern Notes
- Fp around a sc is not easy, just do the best you can to get around the stitch
- You are skipping stitches then sc in the stitch next to the one that was skipped to get the posts to be at an angle. The stitch count will be the same each row.
- Hearts are 9 stitches wide. If you would like to make smaller or larger, add or subtract 9 stitches
