Tied Cover Up Child Sizes Crochet Pattern

Child Swimsuit Beach Cover Up Free Crochet Pattern

Here is the Child Size version of the Tied Cover Up Pattern that was released last week! This pattern is simple, using basic crochet stitches. It is made in 1 piece with no sewing! Perfect to wear this summer over a swim suit or add style to a tank and shorts.

Suggested yarn is Caron Cotton Cakes or I Love This Cotton. See pattern notes. Photos were made with Caron Cotton Cakes. Yardage of yarn used for each size is included in the chart.

I truly hope you enjoy this pattern! If you would like to purchase the PDF printable version for a small fee, it is available here on Ravelry. Purchased pattern includes the adult and child sizes! I greatly appreciate every purchase, view, and comment. Thank you!

Pattern Notes for Child Sizes

  1. Pattern is written in U.S. Crochet Terms
  2. Beginning chain(s) of the row DOES NOT count as a stitch.
  3. Since children are at different heights and sizes during their growth, each child size is written out. The only variable to the pattern is the rows, stitches, and neck hole row.
  4. Side ties – Take the tie and weave through the sides, leaving an opening for the arm. Lace like a shoe, starting at the top and working down. Leave open how many stitches you prefer at bottom. Optional to add beads to the bottom of the ties and knot the bottom.
  5. See chart below for measurements
