Video Guide for Crochet Crab Stitch

Looking for a pretty but simple border to add to your project? This Video Guide for the Crochet Crab Stitch Border will show you exactly how to add a nice border to anything. It is popularly used for blankets.

The crab stitch is also called the reverse single crochet stitch. Because it’s just that, a reverse single crochet. When right-handed, your work is done right to left. With the crab stitch you are crocheting left to right.

This technique gives a nice rippled border. The video is adding the border on a C2C blanket. I first added 2 rows of single crochet stitches. It completes the look of the blanket. I am also using a K 6.5mm crochet hook, but you can use any hook needed for your project.

See video below for How to Crochet the Crab Stitch.
